Client Inquiry to Booking Process in Squarespace using Honeybook

Are you desperate for a system to help you collect client inquiries and allow clients to book appointments or meetings with you seamlessly? A Customer Relationship Management (CRM) program is a tool that helps you manage interactions and relationships with clients. In my business, I use Honeybook to streamline my client process from client inquiry to booking, contracts, invoices, and payments.

In this video, I show you how to use Honeybook to set up a system on your Squarespace Website that takes your client from inquiry to booking without you lifting a finger.

Step 1: Build a Page on Squarespace

The first step is to build a page on Squarespace to hold the Honeybook Contact Form. I like to use a Contact Section in the page layouts.

Step 2: Build Your Honeybook Contact Form

The next step is to go to Honeybook and build a custom form. Within the design settings you can alter the form to match the brand and style of your Squarespace Website.

Step 3: Embed the Honeybook Form on Squarespace

Once you are happy with your Honeybook Form, click Publish and copy the code provided. Then go back to your Squarespace Website and add the code to a Code Block.

Step 4: Set Up Scheduling

Method 1: Pure Honeybook

The first method is to use Honeybook for both the client inquiry and scheduling process. This is a good option for those that do not want to pay for both Honeybook and Squarespace Scheduling. However, when scheduling a meeting with you the client is taken away from your website.

To set up scheduling in Honeybook go to Tools > Scheduling and set up a meeting type. When you are done, click finish and copy the meeting link. Then go to your Honeybook Contact form and under Settings choose "your own custom url” and paste the meeting link. Don’t forget to make the changes public.

Now, when a client completes the form they will be redirected to schedule a meeting in Honeybook.

Method 2: Squarespace Scheduling and Honeybook

The second method is to use a Honeybook Form for the client inquiry which then redirects them to another page on your website that holds a Squarespace Scheduling Block.

First create another page in your Not Linked Section and add an Appointment Scheduling Block. Choose to use an existing Acuity Account or set up Squarespace Scheduling. Once you are happy with the scheduling page, copy the link to the page and go to your Honeybook Contact form. Under Settings choose "your own custom url” and paste the page url. Don’t forget to make the changes public.

Now, when a client completes the inquiry form they will be redirected to the page with the Appointment Scheduling block.

Using Honeybook Projects

Regardless of which method you choose, when a client fills out the form Honeybook automatically creates a project. You can then use this project portal to provide contracts and invoices, collect payments, and keep track of all correspondence. You can also set up an email workflow to automatically email your clients reminders.
