What does this code do?

These code snippets will show you how to add a Facebook Messenger Chat Box to your Squarespace Website.

Code Snippets

All of the code will be provided by your Facebook Business Page.

1. Open your Facebook Business Page

2. Click on Settings

3. Select Messenger Platform

4. Go to the Customer Chat Plugin section

5. Click Set Up

6. Follow the instructions to set and style your chat box.

7. Make sure to add your domain name.

8. Select I’ll set up the code myself.

9. Click to copy to clipboard.

10. Go to your Squarespace Website and paste the code into Settings > Advanced > Code Injection > Footer
